10 Most Extraordinary Photos Of Ballerinas By Dane Shitagi
 | On 16, Jun 2013
Dane Shitagi, a New York City photographer who has a exceptionally unique approach to photography. Born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii his passion and gift for photography surfaced at a very young age. In 1996 Dane moved to New York where he was able to be influenced by the city’s vitality and diverse atmosphere. Instead of limiting himself to the confines of a studio enviroment, Dane explores all aspects of the location he photographs in. New York City has provided a dramatic and honest back drop for his work, but he has expanded this adventurous approach all over the US and even the world.
Like a dream becoming reality the Ballerina Project is an ongoing series of photographs created by photographer. Constructed over the span of 12 years the Ballerina Project is not your typical “dance photography” but an etching of a ballerinas heart and emotions. Below examples are just 10 of them. Be sure to check out his official website and to follow official facebook fan page to see more.
